It’s Friday and you know what that means. :)

It’s simple. I finally crawl out of the hole I’ve been in. This week, something phenomenal happened to me. I didn’t win a much coveted copy of Camtasia Studio 6 (screencasting software) or Sony Vegas Pro (Would it hurt to give me a copy, God? :P). I had one of my better stretches with regards to work and my life. I wish I had a personal writer who would follow me around for every nugget of wisdom that dropped into my lap this week. Here are a few highlights:

  1. I got a little worried when I thought about my workload, but after talking things over with M, I began to see that things weren’t as bad as they seemed. Moral: a burden shared is a burden halved. M has been fantastic about helping me with physical aspects and I’m really grateful to him.
  2. M had his exam this week and he came away just a tad disappointed. You see, he has a very rational & logical mind. One of the questions on his exam was such that he totally discounted a notion which happened to be part of the solution to the problem. I urged him not to beat up on himself, but the lesson that even I came away with was: never say never.
  3. As a quick aside, I got a copy of the book from Gutenberg which is an online repository of books that have gone into the public domain in the United States. I use yBook as my paperback emulator and it’s fantastic. Since I’m too poor to afford a Kindle, I’ll use my laptop as my e-book reader.

I’ll write more later (or as the spirit moves me).

Namaste
