I’m an auntie again!!

Ladies and gents, my sister gave birth to a beautiful girl sans epidurals and all the comforts of the West. lol. She sounded remarkably lucid for someone who just gave birth about 2 days ago. This makes me more eager to go home! My folks are over the moon with joy and I feel incredibly blessed. Now, things are even: a nephew from Julie and a niece from Amanda. I don’t want any eyeballs looking my way just yet though. πŸ˜€ Sorry mom. lol. I cannot WAIT to see the pictures of the little girl who weighed 6.6 lbs at birth.

Yesterday was one of the more fun days I’d had in a long while. I started out the day by attending the Insectival at the State Botanical Gardens of Georgia and I had a blast primarily because I was there with my camera and I took tons of shots. Several crappy ones are there simply because I didn’t have a tripod and I got a little low on sugar there. However, I did get some solid ones and once I go through the duplicates, I’ll post them up on Flickr and wait for the buyers to come calling. lol. After that, M’s dad decided to come on down and we (Julie, Jonathan, Baby Ben, myself and M’s dad) all went to church! It was Ben’s first outing and he was too cute with his hair neatly combed and making goo goo eyes at the stained glass windows. πŸ™‚ I got to feed him towards the end of the service because he was getting a little antsy, but he performed very well. Then, I found out that one of my supervisors was present because he stopped by and said hello to us all. After church, we all got stuff to eat at Wendy’s and then went back to J & J’s place for a good old fashioned shooting-the-breeze. πŸ™‚
