I went to a local tavern to see this match. This was a big title fight between BJ Penn (from Hawaii) and an American kid, Sean Sherk. I was rooting for Penn who eventually won the fight. It was indeed an interesting night because the peoplethat I had favored to win won. Nevertheless, what put a bitter taste in my mouth was the food at said local tavern. I’ve been to this place before and I absolutely loved their veggie chili. Expectedly, M & I placed 2 orders of the veggie chili only for the meal to come out barely lukewarm. It was tasty, but anyone knows that cold soup just sucks major butt. I mean, would it have hurt to pop the food in the microwave for a minute or two? We didn’t want to complain because we’ve heard horror stories about the spitting, peeing and even ejaculating onto customers’ orders for any reason. Morale of these stories: I’m learning that a certain group of people in the food service industry don’t take kindly to complaining customers.
In other news, I have come to understand that certain aspects of my lifestyle are bothersome. However, I ask that you not try to force your wishes upon me because that’s when I dig my heels in and say “no can do”. Childish, yes but I am not saying an blatant NO to your ideas.
I’m discovering things about myself and essentially learning about my environment as I carry on with my daily activities. I won’t say much about this topic because I’m not feeling very eloquent right now.
Not a surprise because my mind’s elsewhere right now. I haven’t ridden in over 3 days so I definitely need to get on the bike. Hopefully, I’ll do that and get some socialization in with J & J, J’s sister and M’s dad. Cheers and have a nice holiday.
