lol. Anything for my darling computer. :) Jokes aside, I don't believe I've had issues with both of them running side by side (thankfully!). ZoneAlarm Pro (what I'm running) doesn't have AV fxnality, but has anti-spyware properties. I think Symantec does have some anti-spyware, but not enough to let it protect my pc totally. I got Ad-Aware on a whim and I don't have it running in realtime. Just when I feel the pc needs a spyware detox.

Actually you didn't have to spend that much! If ZoneAlarm has Antivirus in that package, running it concurrently with Symantec AV can crash ur machine..... on the money side.... Symantec's AV and Spybit would do the trick for u.... on the free side... windows firewall.... is surprisingly pretty good.... blocks out the majority of the stuff.... if u have to spend at all... maybe on Spyware Doctor.. (about 30 bucks) but its well worth it...... one of the best antispyware commercial products....

Please try not to spend too much on security software abeg!

Always
